Nicely documented. Few suggestions:

*	I assume all the core & smoke are part of the full regressions
as well.
*	If you can define the data sets for the performance tests that
will help. You may want to get some detailed inputs on the data sets
from Sudheesh's team. You may refer Section 4.2 in this document
(\\mightydog\Program
Management\Delorean\qe\TestPlans\SmallFilePerformance_TestPlan_Ver0_1.do
c)=20
*	I would add "create multilun volume" to the smoke category
*	Test cases involving "scsi failback" & "scsi move" need to be
added. Probably to the core category.=20
*	You have lots of cases for mirror/snapshot/dump/restore. You can
cut down these cases to much smaller number if you wish.=20
*	I would suggest testing "the maximum number of supported LUNS &
multipaths"
*	Active I/O's for extended period of time while array is in
degraded mode.
*	Don't know if the masking/zoning is supported at the controller
level. If it is, "active I/O on a volume, mask the LUNs used by the
volume for few minutes and unmask them again, make sure volume comes
back online". This can be either full/core
*	If you can repeat the power tests more than once that will be
great
*	After the each power tests, EEK should be a part of the
verification method.=20

Thanks.

Subject: Pantera testing workflows

Pantera workflows=20
=20
Recently the Qualification team was tasked with creating a complete
series of workflows for the testing of the Pantera system. Test
workflows that test the functionality of the Pantera storage array along
with its interoperability with the Bobcat filer. =20

The spreadsheet contains two separate workflows for the testing of the
Pantera array and the Bobcat. These workflows lists the full testing of
the Pantera array and covers the workflows for the Bobcat testing that
we feel necessary for the testing of the Pantera system. Sub-sets of
the workflows have been selected for Core and Smoke testing. Levels of
testing are based on the follow:

Full testing will be done on all major releases of the
Pantera(Dot Hill) firmware and EverON software.

Core testing will be done on minor releases of the
Pantera(Dot Hill) firmware and EverON software.

Smoke testing will be done on patch releases of the
Pantera(Dot Hill) firmware.

We are looking for some feedback on the workflows in the areas on the
Bobcat testing and on this document as well. A technical review meeting
will be setup on Tuesday 1/9 to discuss changes to the workflows and the
document.

The spreadsheet is located at:
